This event promotes April as Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention Month and raises community awareness and funds to benefit the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center. Year after year, riders from across the Commonwealth of Kentucky and our neighboring states have joined together to participate in this exciting event. It’s quite a sight to see hundreds—some years more than a thousand!—shiny motorcycles, decked out with lots of blue ribbons and blue balloons.
Bowling Green Police Department’s finest lead the parade through the busiest streets of Bowling Green. The parade stops traffic and reminds the community of the Center’s mission and services to victims of child sexual abuse, as well as collects teddy bears and contributions to support vital services to kids in our regional community.
