18th Annual Pickin' Party: Old-Time Music Festival
Old Time Music will echo through the hills, hollows and river valleys of Homeplace 1850s -- our connection to the past; we can hear their voices telling Traditional music, some with a modern twist!
your banjo, guitar, fiddle, or harmonica and join in on the fun during open mic and the jamming sessions.
Visit with traditional woodworker and luthier, Mike Holmes, and see how instruments are made by hand.
Or just sit back and enjoy the energized performances of folk, string band, old-time fiddle, banjo, and bluegrass music.Including - fret-less banjo picker and blues guitar performer Mark Dvorak, our favorite old-time String Band Dixie Volunteers, and Common Thread talented women who perform traditional favorites. Back by popular demand, Nathan Blake Lynn and Josh Coffey will emcee and treat us with old-time tunes between performances.
