Since 1971, Morgan County and thousands of visitors have celebrated the Sorghum Festival in downtown West Liberty. The mule-drawn cane mill, steaming vats and little jugs of sorghum molasses set the stage for three full days of Kentucky mountain heritage.
Live music, a parade, the Old Country Store, the Sorghum Queen crowned at annual Bowl Game, and more than 100 arts and crafts displays fill the townwith sight, sound and excitement.
Come join us and experience the 43rd annual Morgan County Sorghum Festival during the last full weekend of September, the 27th-29th, for a taste of pure Kentucky.
