Ali Center to Host the Final ‘First Friday at the MAC’
The Muhammad Ali Center, in partnership with the Republic Bank First Friday Hop and in conjunction with WorldFest, will host the final ‘First Friday at the MAC’ of the summer on Friday, September 2nd from 5:00-10:00 p.m. The family-friendly block party at the Ali Center includes live music, dance demonstrations, trivia, and a kids’ activities space. The event is free. Admission to the exhibits is $5 for adults and free for age 18 and under.
Ali to Me: Art by Patrick Maxcy will open on September 2nd and run through January 2nd. Colorado-based Maxcy produced six painted murals designed around Muhammad Ali’s Six Core Principles. He is the featured artist for the Fourth Annual Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards “Days of Greatness” events.
This ‘First Friday at the MAC’ will take place in conjunction with WorldFest – free on the Belvedere, across the pedway from the Ali Center, all weekend.
