Bardstown Arts, Crafts & Antiques Fair
Begin your holiday shopping in downtown Bardstown, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8-9, when over 200 artisans and craftspeople put their talents and works of art on display. The 36th Annual Bardstown Arts, Crafts & Antiques Fair will include artists working in numerous mediums: metal art, pottery, jewelry, antiques, wearables, foods, natural soap, candles and much more.
"We have a lot of regional artists as well as artists all over the U.S., including as far away as Maine," said Lisanna Byrd, executive director of the Bardstown Main Street Program, which organizes the event.
New this year will be a food court and live entertainment area. The food court will have everything from tamales and barbecue to seafood and gourmet hot dogs, as well as everyone's favorite fair food, including funnel cakes, burgers and ribbon fries. The entertainment area will host both local and regional talent, highlighting solo acts and small bands.
