EAT: A Literature + Photography Installation at Centre College’s Norton Center
Centre College’s Norton Center for the Arts is pleased to invite the public to view the exhibit EAT: A Literature + Photography Installation, featuring works of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction alongside photographic interpretations of each piece by Kentucky artist Sarah Jane Sanders currently on display in the Grand Foyer until December 2016. During December to February 2015-2016, the Norton Center put out a call for submissions of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction for EAT; literal, figurative, experimental, dark, nostalgic, satirical, or others including products consumed for eating, or that simply include memorable scenes connected to eating, and commissioned Sanders to interpret the selected works into large scale photographs.
EAT: A Literature + Photography Installation is free and open to the public
9 am – 4 pm Monday through Friday, as well as by appointment and when the Norton Center is open for concerts and related activities, and will be available until December 2016.
