International Bluegrass Museum Fall Concert Series
The International Bluegrass Music Museum announced the schedule for their fall benefit concert series slated to begin August 26 and continuing through the month of December.
The series will feature seven bluegrass and folk bands from across the United States starting with Mipso, a four-piece out of North Carolina on August 26.
Season passes are available for $100 each; passes include one ticket to each show included in the series. Individual show tickets are also available for purchase at $15 per ticket. The concerts are held at the Museum's theater in downtown Owensboro. With a capacity of 130, these shows create an intimate atmosphere allowing audience members and artists to connect through the music.
December 4 - The Giving Tree Band (Illinois)
December 17 - Driftwood (New York)
Monies raised from this concert series help the museum continue their efforts to preserve and honor the legacy of bluegrass music including music educational programs, general museum operating expenses, the Video Oral History Project (VOHP) and artifact collection efforts.
