In partnership with KET, the Muhammad Ali Center is hosting a FREE Indie Lens Pop Up film screening April 21st in the Center’s auditorium. Armor of Light :: Thursday, April 21st at 6:00 p.m.
Armor of Light follows an Evangelical minister and the mother of a teenage shooting victim who ask, is it possible to be both pro-gun and pro-life? The film follows these unlikely allies through their trials of conscience, heartbreak and rejection, as they bravely attempt to make others consider America’s gun culture through a moral lens. The film is also a courageous look at our fractured political culture, and an assertion that it is, indeed, possible for people to come together across deep party lines to find common ground. View the trailer here. RSVP for the film here. Film contains graphic content. Parental discretion is advised.
Doors to the auditorium will open at 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments are included. For a list of all of our upcoming films, visit the Ali Center’s website
