NATALIE FRANK : The Brothers Grimm Natalie Frank uses the original tales of the Grimm Brothers as subjects for her vivid paintings of complex images that combine realism and dream, beauty and grotesquery.
LAWRENCE TARPEY: Figures & Grounds
Tarpey uses a range of techniques: painting, drawing, scraping and etching to call forth the human and animal imagery that populate his work.
RALPH EUGENE MEATYARD & DUANE MICHALS: Camera Drama
Drawn from the UK Art Museum's collection, both of these artists are known for creating distinctive narratives using staged photography to produce mysterious and sometimes troubling tableaux that explore the ephemeral nature of life.
