Pollywog Play Party at Bernheim
Float like a butterfly, buzz like a bee – this pollywog bunch is a sight to see! Parents can bring early learners (children 5 and under) to the Education Center on Saturday, September 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. to explore the amazing life of insects and their relatives. Children will meet live critters, go on an insect safari, dress like a bug, and much more.
Pollywog Play Parties combine music, art, language and outside play to encourage children and their families to learn about nature. Every Pollywog Play Party includes a song and story circle, nature-based explorations, and a variety of arts and crafts projects, science investigations, role playing challenges and opportunities for free play.
Registration required by 4 p.m. on September 4. Space is limited. Call (502) 955-8512 for reservations. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. No charge for accompanying adults.
