Whiskey in the Jar at Behringer-Crawford Museum
Roger Drawdy and the Firestarters bring us Celtic energy, a story or two and an evening of music that will make you want to step dance.
Singer/songwriter Drawdy, who began performing professionally at age 14, produced two solo albums before forming the Firestarters with Nathan Widdel, Eric Sayer and Mark Milliron in 2000. Together, they have released several popular CDs and performed at dozens of venues throughout the U.S. They play a mix of traditional and original music, and their concerts are described as featuring "thought-provoking lyrics, haunting melodies and thunderous performances."
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the performance is from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-12. Each museum member is admitted free with a paying guest. Adult beverages are available for purchase. Concert-goers can also purchase food by Colonial Cottage of Erlanger, KY, supporting local youth and community organizations.
