Silent Storytellers exhibit at Behringer Crawford Museum
What can a chicken feather wreath tell you about its creator?
Who wore a 19th century U.S. Coast Guard Artillery Corps jacket?
How are the people in an old photograph connected to one of the area's well-known families?
These and many other mysteries will be uncovered in an upcoming exhibit at Behringer-Crawford Museum, "Silent Storytellers: Sharing Family Histories through Artifacts," which opens Saturday, February 27 at the museum, located at 1600 Montague Road - Devou Park.
"Silent Storytellers" features a selection of Northern Kentucky family heirlooms from the museum's permanent collection, showing how photos, clothing, art and other artifacts can be clues to the past, revealing fascinating details about the lives of our ancestors and the origins of family traditions.
Exhibit continues through May 15.
