Son del Caribe at Behringer-Crawford Museum
Behringer-Crawford Museum in Covington's Devou Park will again reverberate to the sounds of salsa as Son del Caribe returns to the Music@BCM stage.
Led by top Puerto Rican trombonist Jaime Morales, the Cincinnati-based group is considered one of the best Latin bands in the region, performing regularly at dance clubs, concerts and music festivals. Son del Caribe will get your hips swinging and feet moving to a danceable, pan-Caribbean, pan- American mix of salsa, samba, merengue, and more. A bonus - band members will teach you how to move like a pro to the spicy rhythm.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the performance is from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-12. Each museum member is admitted free with a paying guest. Adult beverages are available for purchase. Concert-goers can also purchase food by Colonial Cottage of Erlanger, KY, supporting local youth and community organizations.
