Work alongside experienced model train hobbyist!
The Historic RailPark & Train Museum is offering a unique opportunity to kids providing hands-on fun in one of America’s oldest and most important industries. During the week-long program campers will learn about railroad history, model trains and experience firsthand how to build railroad scenery displays.
Model Train Camp is an educational experience for kids who have an interest in railroads and railroading. The program is designed to teach kids about building model train displays while providing a simultaneous experience in the early history of U.S. railroads in the development and settlement of our country. Students will learn both modern and historic elements of America’s most vital transportation mode.
Kids will attend a week-long camp where they will participate in model train operations, interact with experienced sHOw Club model train hobbyist, learn building techniques, experience railroad history and work with various tools. Camp opportunities are offered on two separate weeks.
Circus Train Camp: Spend the week with Broadway the Clown!
Kids will learn the basics of clowning and prepare for a circus performance to be held o Friday for a live audience. Broadway the Clown will teach campers how to juggle and perform magic. Campers will also create their own clown costumes, props and learn how to make balloon animals.

Applying to Summer Camp at the RailPark
The camp is open to boys and girls who are currently 10 years or older. No prior experience is required. The cost for attending camp is $195 per camper for RailPark Members and $235 for non-members. Early drop off begins at 8:00am and late pick-up ends at 5:00pm. All materials needed for camp and lunch is provided. Space is limited and you must pre-register.
