Located in the heart of Historic Old Louisville, The Conrad-Caldwell House, completed in 1895, is an incredible example of Victorian architecture and showcases the grandeur of early 1900s’ lifestyle.
To help preserve this historic gem by raising awareness and funds for the CCHM Capital Campaign, the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum’s Executive Director Ally Wroblewski has pledged to dress EVERY DAY in fantastic period-style clothing – both in and out of the office! This “dress-athon” of sorts has been dubbed “The 30 Days of Wearing History Challenge” and will commence July 1! Ally will post on our website, Twitter and Facebook a photo or video every day she dresses in period costumes, keeping us updated on all of her adventures!
Now here is where you guys come in: We are looking for outstanding businesses, groups and individuals willing to make to pledges anywhere from $1-$100 for every day Ally keeps it up. All donations are tax deductible and go toward the museum’s CCHM Capital Campaign, which will fund preservation projects at The Conrad-Caldwell House Museum. You can also support Ally’s challenge by sharing her story and spreading the word through social media by using #CCHMCapitalCampaign
Whether it is a daily pledge or a flat donation help make this 30 Days of Wearing History Challenge a true success as we work together to preserve history!
