Christmas fills the air, with the scents of fresh greenery, warm cider and the decorations of years gone by. Gordon and Judy Geagley, owners of Judy Geagley by Hand LLC Gift Shop, will host “An Old Fashioned Christmas,” Saturday, November 7th and Sunday, November 8th from 9:00 am. – 5:00 pm.
Geagley says, “I remember growing up as a child, the excitement of decorating for Christmas, the smell of fresh cedar and pine, as we hung the handmade ornaments on the branches. Each ornament had a story to tell. We never bought new wrapping paper but re-used wrapping paper saved from the past Christmas gifts. An Old Fashioned Christmas will take us all back in time to remember when it was a simple way of life.”
The shop will be filled with a wide variety of gift baskets and gifts made by Kentucky artists. Enjoy a taste of Kentucky Proud gourmet foods, as you browse the shop filled with handcrafted Christmas ornaments and decorations.
Meet photographer Ed Lawrence, who will be signing his book Kentucky 120. The book features a photo from each of the 120 counties, proudly capturing the heart and soul of Kentucky. Ed will also have his new line of winter note cards available, perfect for staying in touch with family and friends during the holiday season.
