The 13.1-mile course starts at the Bowling Green Ball Park and runs through historic downtown Bowling Green and the beautiful Western Kentucky University campus. (Marathoners will run the course twice.) Runners will finish at the Bowling Green Ball Park, where family and friends can see them on the big screen.
Expo/pasta dinner and packet pickup will be held at the National Corvette Museum on Saturday, November 1, from 5-8 p.m. Registered participants will receive a goodie bag and tech shirt. Finishers will receive a finisher’s medal, official finisher’s certificate and finish-area refreshments. There will be a 6-hour time limit on the race.
Overall awards to male/female winner, masters male/female and grandmasters male/female. Awards also given for 1st thru 3rd age-group winners. Age groups are 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69 and 70 & over.
All proceeds will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation in memory of Susan B. Riherd, sister of TRAX partner Lilly Wheet, who died from MS at the age of 48. Marathon begins at 7 am.
