BOURBON ARCHAEOLOGY: Exploring Kentucky’s Distilleries
Join us for our salute to National Historic Preservation Month. As our 2015 excavation season gets underway, Jack Jouett Archaeology Project Director Nick Laracuente will explain how farm distilleries like Jack Jouett’s, which have been excluded from the larger history of bourbon, can illuminate the people, technology, and social structures underlying the modern distilling industry.
Time: 6:30 pm, Woodford County Library Community Room (115 North Main Street, Versailles). Admission: Free.
Presented in partnership with the Woodford County Library.
