Carson Center Distiller's Dinner
Everything takes place on stage in the beautiful main theatre at the Carson Center in historic downtown Paducah. "Everything" is included in the price of your ticket - reception with Bourbon Hall of Famer Al Young of Four Roses, cocktails, appetizers, live music by classical guitarist Brent Webster, four-course seated dinner by Artisan Kitchen, and a tax-deductible contribution to the Carson Center.
This is the 11th annual Distiller's Dinner - which is the fall fundraising event for the Carson Center, our regional nonprofit performing arts center. Every Distiller's Dinner features a "Who's Who" of the bourbon industry.
Proceeds benefit the Carson Center, our nonprofit regional performing arts center that presents Broadway productions, concerts by nationally acclaimed performing artists, an educational series for children and youth, family-friendly performances, and faith-based performances.
Al Young, historian and brand ambassador for Four Roses Distillery, will be the featured guest at the Carson Center Distiller's Dinner on Saturday, October 17. Author of a book titled "Four Roses, The Return of a Whiskey Legend," Mr. Young was inducted into the prestigious Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame in 2011. His wealth of industry knowledge and experience spans four decades. He will share that expertise, some good stories, and his sense of humor during brief remarks.
Live background music will be provided by classical guitarist Brent Webster, director and founder of guitar studies at Murray State University. He has performed in concert as a soloist and with guitar maestros throughout Ecuador and the United States. A graduate of the Murray State music program, Mr. Webster earned his master's degree in classical guitar performance from the University of Kentucky.
