You're invited to the very first ticketed concert in The Parklands of Floyds Fork — and it's a spectacular one! Creekside Jam, a Parklands Benefit, is set to take place on Friday, August 1, 2014, and will directly benefit The Parklands of Floyds Fork, a donor-supported public park.
The concert will feature America's masters of bluegrass and newgrass, with performances by Kentucky's very own 14-time Grammy® winner Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder; "newgrass" innovator and legend, and four-time International Bluegrass Music Association Mandolin Player of the Year Sam Bush; and Rhonda Vincent, crowned the "new queen of bluegrass" by the Wall Street Journal.
This event will take place along the scenic Humana Grand Allee, located in Beckley Creek Park (near 1411 Beckley Creek Parkway). Guests at this family-friendly event are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the sights and sounds of the evening. In addition to a night of award-winning bluegrass music, park supporters also will enjoy a variety of food and beverage vendors. No outside food or beverages permitted. No re-entry, no refunds.
Admission is $40 for Parklands members / $55 for non-members / $65 day of show general admission tickets.
Children under 10 will be admitted free with an adult paid admission.
