Liberty Hall Historic Site presents Early Kentucky Home Life Seminar: Foodways of Early Kentucky. This seminar explores the world of food and drink, cultivation and preparation in the first quarter of the 19th century in Kentucky.
Presentations by: Tom Beall, owner of First Vineyards/J.J. Dufour Winery in Nicholasville; Jonathan Jeffrey, scholar and author from Western Kentucky University; Emily Burns, author and historical re-enactor; and the LHHS staff.
Lunch will feature wine from First Vineyards. Registration is $45 ($40 for Friends of LHHS, NSCDA-KY and HHN members) and includes all presentations, materials, lunch and a tour of Liberty Hall.
