Engineering With Minecraft Camp presented by the Edelbrock Family Foundation
Minecraft, a multiplayer video game, which allows players to engineer everyday items using blocks, has become one of the most popular computer games of all time. Jason Lindsey aka “Mr. Science” with Hooked on Science has designed an “Engineering with Minecraft” school program, which takes the popular game from the virtual world to you.
Campers learn the basics of engineering by using Legos to create their own Minecraft models and more. This hands-on STEM school program will allow your child to demonstrate a strong understanding of these Next Generation Science Standards. Ages 7-12.
Early drop off is 7:45am if needed. Late pickup is 4:30pm if needed. Please indicate your needs on our registration form. Please be sure to bring your printed Activity Enrollment sheet from the website if your child has never attended a camp at the National Corvette Museum.
Students will need to pack a lunch for the camp, but an afternoon snack will be provided.
