Engineering with Minecraft Camp at Corvette Museum
Minecraft, a multiplayer video game, which allows players to engineer everyday items using blocks, has become one of the most popular computer games of all time. Jason Lindsey aka “Mr. Science” with Hooked on Science has designed an “Engineering with Minecraft” school program, which takes the popular game from the virtual world to you. Campers learn the basics of engineering by using Legos to create their own Minecraft models and more. This hands-on STEM school program will allow your child to demonstrate a strong understanding of these Next Generation Science Standards. Ages 7-12.
Minecraft Camp is 8am-4:00pm
Please be sure to bring your printed Activity Enrollment Form if your child has never attended a camp at the National Corvette Museum.
Students will need to pack a lunch for the camp, but an afternoon snack will be provided. Please enter at Gate B and enter museum through set of glass doors to the right of Corvette Cafe.
*Due to the popularity of this camp and the large waiting list, please give at least two weeks notice for cancellation and refund.
