Each fall, Forkland celebrates its rural past with the Forkland Heritage Festival and Revue, a wonderful event full of crafts, music, food, games and historical displays.
You can purchase local crafts and watch them being made, visit a log cabin, the Lincoln Museum and even an old steam tractor. And experience a horse-drawn wagon ride to a lovely waterfall, listen to history skits and old-time music, and take a chance on an Amish-made quilt at the silent auction.
Come and run through the scenic knobs on Forkland's backroads in the Fox & Hound Race. And don't miss all the delicious food. Saturday, start your day with a yummy pancake breakfast. All day every day, vendors offer chicken, pork chops, country ham & biscuits, pizza, burgers, fruit cobbler, homemade cake, ice cream, cider, sorghum, honey and homemade bread. The beans start cooking at 6 each morning and smell delicious all day.
Be sure to stay for the much beloved Old Country Supper Theatre. Talented local performers will entertain during the supper while you enjoy all the beans and cornbread you can eat!
