Fossil Class at Blue Licks Battlefield Oct. 10
Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park is hosting a workshop on “Fossils of Kentucky” for guests who want to learn more about ancient fossils on Oct. 10.
Paleontologist and interpretive naturalist Alan Goldstein will lead the class. Goldstein has worked at the Falls of the Ohio State Park in Clarksville, Indiana, since 1993. He has more than 50 years of experience and can help participants identify rocks and fossils in their collection. Guests are encouraged to bring items from their collection.
The free class will be at the Pioneer Museum at 3 p.m. Admission to the museum is also free during this program.

Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park has a lodge, cottages, campground, Hidden Waters Restaurant, gift shop, miniature golf, picnic areas and hiking trails. The resort is located 45 miles northeast of Lexington off historic Highway 68.
