Frazier Museum 2nd Saturday Family Day!
December’s SECOND SATURDAY will fill the museum with the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the holiday season. Join us as we look at the celebrations of many of the world’s cultures thru activities, imaginative crafts, games and live performances. Along with the great holiday sights, the sounds of the season will be echoing from the Frazier. On Saturday the 12th, we are honored to have two local school choirs caroling. From 10-10:45 a.m., guests will be entertained by the sounds of the St. Francis school choir. From 1-1:45 p.m., singers from Olmsted Academy will take the stage for seasonal caroling. Additional performances will feature Louisville Lion Dance (Vietnamese celebratory dances), Arcoiris Latino (Traditional Mexican dances) and our own performing Teaching Artists. The performances are free for members and available to anyone with the price of admission.
Alice S. Colombo, author of the cookbook, “Remember Me”, and former Assistant Food Editor and food stylist for The Courier-Journal newspaper will be on-hand to discuss her work and sign copies of her cookbook.
Admission and activities are free for members, and included with regular admission for guests.
Doors Open 9am-5pm, Second Saturday programming 11am-3pm
