Historic Camp Springs HERBST (Autumn) TOUR
Ten years ago, a revered Camp Springs resident introduced and shared his deep passion
with others to perpetuate his beloved historical community’s treasured amenities. Today, that
seed, the CAMP SPRINGS HERBST (Autumn) TOUR, offers a most unique and memorable
experience for historical enthusiasts. Visitors enjoy driving along a FREE self-guided auto tour
that highlights many historical and cultural features hidden away in one of the most picturesque and tranquil areas in Northern Kentucky.
Prior to his death in April, 2013, event founder Donald Wiedeman, most recognized as
the retired Executive Director for the Northern Kentucky Homebuilders Association, quietly
utilized his many gifts and talents to cultivate within his cherished community the public interest and resources necessary to host such an event.
Since 2007, historic Camp Springs, Kentucky, the hidden treasure of Southern Campbell
County, has attracted tri-state tourists by the carloads during its annual HERBST (Autumn) Tour.
This year’s event will be held on Sunday, OCTOBER 16th from Noon to 6 p.m. Rain or Shine.
