The Historic State Theater welcomes Kentucky native J.D. Shelburne, along with special guest Matthew Pinkham to the stage on June 20.
After high school graduation, Taylorsville native J.D. Shelburne departed to attend the University of Kentucky and the music journey hasn’t stopped from there. Following his graduation from UK in 2007, he packed his bags and moved to Nashville to pursue his country music career. Since the move, Shelburne has shared the stage with many national country acts, including Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler, Clay Walker and many others.
Shelburne has had enough recognition to land him in Country Weekly Magazine and Music Entertainment Magazine. He also has been featured as a guest at the Grand Ole Opry, and performed at the KFC Yum Center!, Rupp Arena, The Wildhorse Saloon, and the CMA Music Festival. Shelburne recently made his Stadium debut at the 2013 Kentucky State Fair opening for Montgomery Gentry.
Hardin County's own Matthew Pinkham will be open the show for Shelburne.
