Jane’s Saddlebag is a lovely reconstructed historical structure that preserves a bygone way of life. The “Saddlebag house” is a traditional structure, featuring 2 rooms side-by-side that share a central chimney. Typically, such buildings were rural homes, though saddlebags were also popular as tenant homes on larger farms. Jane’s Saddlebag is a classic example of this and maintains the original footprint, foundation, two front doors and a detached smoke house, ready for you to explore and experience firsthand. Our main building is where all of our homemade food, desserts that change weekly, beverages, beer and wine are served. The main building is now primarily used as a restaurant. JSB also provides indoor seating for guests along with outdoor seating on our covered and uncovered decks, with views down the large back lawn to the water’s edge.
