Louisville International Film Festival
The three-day weekend festival begins on October 13th and runs through October 15th with several screenings at the Louisville Science Center, additional screenings at the Louisville Public Library, Galt House, and the new outdoor Brown Forman Pavilion.
The Louisville International Festival of Film showcases emerging filmmakers while also spotlighting Louisville and local filmmakers. The festival has grown each year and now includes 3D films, animated features, documentary features and shorts, horror features and shorts as well as feature length films.
Notable past features include ‘The Burning Plain’ starring Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence. Likewise, this year’s festival has no shortage of films with Kentucky connections. Over 250 pieces were submitted to the LIFF from around the world.

Tickets for the Opening Night Party only are $25; VIP Passes, that includes tickets to all events and screenings, are $50. A weekend pass is $25, a day pass is $15, and individual movie passes are $5.
