Northern Kentucky Regional History Day
The 23rd Annual Northern Kentucky Regional History Day takes place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 19 at Northern Kentucky University's Student Union.
In recognition of the 150th anniversary of the Roebling Bridge, the opening session, "John A. Roebling and the Suspension Bridge on the Ohio River," will be presented at 10 a.m. in the Otto Budig Theater by Don Heinrich Tolzmann, historian for the Covington-Cincinnati Suspension Bridge Committee, curator of the German-American Heritage Museum and president of the German-American Citizens League. Two sessions of five concurrent audiovisual workshops each will follow. Throughout the day, history and genealogical organizations, museums, historic sites, authors and others will exhibit books, newsletters, documents, maps, mementoes, artifacts and projects.
