Enjoy a night of history with a lantern tour through the downtown Bowling Green cemetery! This is a living history event commemorating Bowling Green’s involvement in the War Between the States. Visit with 10 former residents who lived in Bowling Green between 1796-1866. Listen to their stories of the settling of Bowling Green, the impact of the railroad on Bowling Green’s economic and cultural diversity, and the impact of the Civil War on their lives.
Three 45-minute walking tours will be offered beginning at 7, 8 and 9 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors/students and 12 and under are free. Street parking is available, as well as parking at the NAPA Auto Parts and BG Parks & Recreation parking lots. You can purchase tickets in the NAPA lot.
