Siege of 1777 Reenactment
Join us for the reenactment of the Siege of 1777. Two-hundred and thirty nine years ago, a handful of early Kentuckians residing at Benjamin Logan's Fort were attacked by Native Americans supported by the British Army. The success of the settlers at the fort to hold-off the Native Americans was an important victory for Logan's Fort, as well as nearby forts - Boonesboro and Fort Harrod - and helped secure Kentucky as a part of the United States.
Come celebrate the lives of Kentucky's early frontiersmen with a reenactment, demonstrations and other living history activities.
