Spirits in the River City
Presented by B.J. Summers, Market House Museum Board President Emeritus & author
Spirits are once again on the rise in Paducah! And no, we’re not talking about ghosts, but about the resurgence of distilleries and breweries. In the early 1900’s the crafting and distributing of alcoholic beverages was a thriving business in Paducah. Since Prohibition, the industry has had a difficult time reestablishing its footing.
Until now !
Join us for a presentation by B.J. Summers, as he explores, through photos and artifacts, the history of spirit operations in Paducah and its connections to the distilleries and breweries opening today.
