The Spirit Ball will be held on Oct. 25, 2014, the Saturday before Halloween. To celebrate the ghostly season in true 19th-century style, the lavish masquerade event is held in one of the city’s most opulent mansions, the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum – right in the heart of Old Louisville, the nation’s most haunted neighborhood. This year, in honor of the 100th birthday of the Belle of Louisville, the theme of the 9th Annual Spirit Ball will be “Celebrating the Spirits of the Belle.”
Beginning at 7 p.m., Spirit Ball ticket holders will enjoy gourmet cuisine, music, silent and live auctions, expertly mixed cocktails and a fabulous costume contest before hitting the After Party at 9:30 p.m.
After party ticket holders will dance the night away from 9:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. with entertainment by Sheryl Rouse Crawford, cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres.
Spirit Ball tickets are $150, which includes the After Party, and After Party only tickets are $50. All proceeds go to the upkeep and preservation of the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum.
You can purchase tickets by calling 502-636-5023. Visit The Spirit Ball Facebook page for more info.
