WOODSONGS OLD-TIME RADIO HOUR presents Kinky Friedman
KINKY FRIEDMAN is America’s most famous Jewish cowboy. He’s a songwriter, musician, author, comedian, philosopher, thinker and politician. His band is called "Texas Jewboys” and his big hit is "They Don’t Make Jews Like Jesus Anymore.” Kinky is one of the modern era’s closest link to Walt Whitman and Mark Twain. A powerful and passionate artist THIS IS NOT A SHOW FOR THE FAINT OF HEART … but it will be pretty ding dang funny.
KACEY JONES is one of America’s funniest ladies of song. She produced an album with Kinky and has a huge body of work in her own right. Her latest song "Donald Trump’s Hair” is a hysterical song about one of the recent campaign’s oddest subjects.
Date: Monday, November 23
Location: Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center, 300 East Third Street
