Environmental Justice Film and Discussion Series
Over 100 of the region’s arts and cultural organizations who are members of the Arts & Cultural Attractions Council (ACA) have come together to participate in YES! Fest- A Year of Environment and Sustainability. YES! Fest will connect the arts, culture and the environment in innovative ways to actively engage audiences of all ages through a wealth of artistic and cultural experiences.
Representatives from five local organizations have committed to volunteering their time and expertise to discuss conservation, climate change, and responsible consumerism after free film screenings at the Muhammad Ali Center this summer. The film screenings, which began on June 16th with The Eleventh Hour, run through July 30th and are available to the public in the Ali Center Auditorium, free of charge.
The five organizations collaborating with the Ali Center for YES! Fest include:
· GCCM Construction Services
· Kentuckians For The Commonwealth
· Louisville Grows
