Lexington Arts League Exhibit: Jack Girard - Canines, Collages, and Bowling Pins
Feb 6 - Apr 3This exhibition features a broad and humorous selection of newworks, to include two installations, and several large-scale paintings and collages. Central to the show is a 15' x 10’ mixed-media wall piece, executed in very loose collaboration with four rescue dogs over a two-year period. Jack Girard is a professor emeritus at Transylvania University, where he taught painting, drawing, and occasional travel-based courses to Ireland and New York City. His work is included in many public and private collections, and has been exhibited extensively in this country and abroad. See more of Jack's work at jackgirard.com
