Across Grandmas Garden, book
Every book evokes emotion, whether it be excitement, anger or joy. And there are those rare books that make you feel warm, safe or even a little whimsical. Across Grandma’s Garden is an example of such a book.
In her latest children’s book, Cynthiana native and master gardener Karen Angelucci has partnered with Lauren McDuffie to relate the story of a little girl who enjoys the wonders of gardening with her grandmother. Based on Angelucci’s own childhood, the book features lilting rhymes and rich watercolor illustrations by Seth McDuffie that are certain to entertain children as they learn a bit about daisies, irises and even the damselfly.
Every parent and grandparent will appreciate the tender relationship the main character has with her wise and wonderful grandmother as the two work side by side and revel in the enchantment of nature.
