Join the Oldham County History Center for their Juneteenth Celebration! This celebration will include Black vendors, artists, craftsman, food trucks and authors along with theatrical and musical performances. Indoor Exhibits include Local Art Contest Winners, Black History Exhibit featuring Oldham County’s Civil War African American soldiers. Awards Ceremony: 2024 Elijah Marrs Award Recipient. Special Guest singers: Ms. Beaumont, Pewee Valley Children’s choir. Guest Speakers: Corey Queen and Damon Thomas. Outdoor Fun: Come and experience a 12th U.S. Colored Heavy Artillery Infantry Encampment. Enjoy savory food, investigate a fire truck, stiltwalker, bouncy house, and more! It is a full day of fun, remembrance, and celebration!
