Women Behaving Badly - Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History
Walk through Kentucky’s history through the eyes of its notorious women. These women, like Georgia Davis Powers, Charlotte Dupuy, and Belle Brezing may not have been villainous, but they certainly didn’t conform to the society they lived in. Explore complex historical women and their motivations while also getting a special look at objects that are not often on display—like Georgia Davis Powers’s suit or Henrietta Bingham’s flapper dress. Book your tickets early on KHS’s website and join us at the History Center for a jaunt through powerful female stories. Email questions and concerns to KHSeducation@ky.gov and we will see you on June 8th or August 24th at 11am!
