The Kentucky Theatre will present an advanced screening of the film Harry & Snowman the evening of Thursday, March 31, to benefit the Maker’s Mark Secretariat Center.
Produced and directed by Ron Davis, the heartwarming Harry & Snowman relates the true story of international show-jumping rider Harry deLeyer and the beloved Snowman, the horse who partnered with deLeyer to launch the latter’s career. The film’s story is told by the 85-year-old deLeyer.
Located at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, the Maker’s Mark Secretariat Center re-schools former Thoroughbred racehorses in preparation for adoption and moving on to careers in different disciplines, such as eventing.
